This is hands-down, the easist loaf of bread you will ever make. It take 1 day to rise, so if you need bread, do a little planning the night before, but I promise, it's worth the 5 minutes of prep.
In a large bowl, combine flour, salt and yeast. Add water and stir until a shaggy bread dough forms. Cover bowl with a towel. Set aside and let the dough rise at room temperature for approximately 12 hours, or overnight.
Place a 4-quart Dutch oven into the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 450ºF with Dutch oven in it.
While Dutch oven heats, turn dough onto a well-floured surface and form into a ball with floured hands. Cover dough with towel and let rest for 30 minutes. With floured hands, place the dough into heated Dutch oven.
Cover Dutch oven with its lid and bake for 30 minutes. Remove cover and bake for 15 more minutes. Remove loaf of baked bread from Dutch oven, and I cannot stress this enough, let cool completely before slicing with a serrated knife.
Notes
Hot Tip: If you don't have a dutch oven, try any oven-safe pot that seals completely, or take the "crock" out of your Crock-Pot and wrap tin foil over it to seal it up tight.
